Chọn cụm liên kết phù hợp nhất cả về ngữ nghĩa lẫn ngữ pháp.

⚠️Bẫy thường gặp — các lỗi hay mất điểm
- ✕ despite of → ○ despite / in spite of.
- ✕ because / although + danh từ → ○ because of / despite + danh từ (because/although nối mệnh đề).
- ✕ due to + mệnh đề → ○ due to + danh từ (thường làm bổ ngữ của be).
- Trạng từ liên kết (however / therefore) KHÔNG phải liên từ đẳng lập → để nối hai mệnh đề độc lập cần dấu câu như "; however,".
- while có cả nghĩa "đồng thời" và "đối lập" — chọn theo ngữ cảnh. during là giới từ (theo sau là danh từ).
- since vừa chỉ "mốc bắt đầu (thời gian)" vừa chỉ "lý do". Nếu mơ hồ, thử thay bằng because.
- on the other hand là một vế của phép đối — không nên dùng đơn lẻ, hãy nghĩ thành cặp.
- Không dùng this/that đơn lẻ khi đối tượng được chỉ không rõ — bổ sung danh từ (this approach, this result).
- Comma splice: KHÔNG nối hai mệnh đề độc lập chỉ bằng dấu phẩy (", however" sai → "; however," hoặc ". However,").
