Phán đoán từ loại
Dựa vào cấu trúc xung quanh chỗ trống (mạo từ / giới từ / S-V-O) và đuôi từ để xác định ngay loại từ cần điền.
Trong các dạng câu điển hình của Part 5, có thể chọn ngay tính từ / danh từ / động từ / trạng từ mà không phải đắn đo.
⚠️Bẫy thường gặp — các lỗi hay mất điểm
- Phân biệt -al của danh từ (approval / arrival / proposal) với -al của tính từ (official / financial).
- Chú ý các từ tận cùng -ly nhưng vẫn là tính từ: friendly, costly, timely (không phải trạng từ).
- Sau "to" có thể là động từ nguyên mẫu hoặc giới từ — phân biệt qua cụm cố định (be committed to ~ing, look forward to ~ing).
- Các cụm "giới từ to + V-ing" khác: object to ~ing / be opposed to ~ing / dedicate A to ~ing.
- Cấu trúc "danh từ + danh từ" (marketing strategy, safety standards) cũng rất hay gặp.

Trật tự cơ bản là "a/an/the + tính từ + danh từ" — tính từ là lựa chọn ưu tiên.

Trạng từ bổ nghĩa cho động từ / tính từ / trạng từ khác
Nhận biết qua vị trí: bổ nghĩa cho V (grow rapidly), nhấn mạnh tính từ (highly competitive), nhấn mạnh trạng từ (very quickly).
